Wild Woman Dance is a movement journey through the five elements of nature; Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Spirit which we use as a guide to help you connect with nature that is within you and all around. Earth grounds you, Water releases emotions, Air creates free thought and inspirations, Fire ignites the sparks of ideas into inspired action and Spirit activates all the energies to embrace the oneness without separation between you and nature. The music guides your movement as each song is specifically chosen to support you to express yourself and feel connected with your dancing body as you are guided with movement imagery to help you flow. You can embrace the dance however feels good in your body as there is no prescribed way to move or steps to follow. Dance and movement have so many benefits for the mind, body and spirit. It has been proven to lower stress levels and enhance mood by releasing 'happy hormones' such as , endorphins, serotonin an dopamine. I invite you to weave it into your day and dance to one song each day, maybe as part of a morning practise. Feel more alive in your body and celebrate yourselves, your moving body and the earth beneath your feet.
